How does one get started?
- A fresh student must buy an admission form
- Make 70% of payment. For work and pay, make 20% of payment.
- To be registered for the final exams, participant must
- Attend at least 80% of all classroom tutorials
- Attend 80% of all field attachment schedules
- Make full payment of exams fee
Field Attachment Schedule is as follows
- Two weeks in a residential care facility
- Two weeks in a hospital or a clinic
- Two weeks in a non-residential care facility
C. Health Facility Assistant
This program is to equip participants with skills in health facility maintenance and manual handling of patients. It is a 12-week program (6 weeks in the classroom and 6 weeks of field training) and affiliated to Ghana Technical and Vocational Education and Training Service.

- Transport items around a hospital
- Help with manual handling of patients
- Ensure wards are clean and tidy
- Transport patients in wheelchairs or movable beds
- Ensure the safety of patients in a hospital
- Cleaning, mopping and general waste management in the hospital

- Personal and Environment Health
- Assisting with Movements, Transfers and Body Positions
- Communication Skills
- First aid
- Hospital etiquette and ethics
- Care, patient, and the law
- Hospital waste management
- Understanding the hospital workforce
